Simon Wilby The Smart Power has taken the cellphone to a whole new level. Under the auspices of The Smart Power Inc., he invented special cellular phone batteries that are charged by solar power. The Smart One is a solar panel designed for attachment at the back of any phone. It comes with a battery specially designed by Simon Wilby The Smart Power to receive the charge.

“Most phones give about 11 hours of standby time, and about four hours of talk time. If you apply The Smart One and charge your phone using direct sunlight, you’re looking at 12 to 14 hours’ talk time,” Simon Wilby said last year during the official launch of The Smart One.
