Simon Wilby is a British-Canadian inventor and investor who in recent months pioneered a new technology called “The Smart One”. This device is a solar cell technology that exercises the use of plastic as an alternative to silicone. With “The Smart One”,  Simon Wilby, has expediently modified the approach of how the world would gaze upon the infamous gadget of this generation - the cellular phone.

Simon Wilby’s invention, “The Smart One” has the means to allow mobile phones to recharge by using light sources such as artificial light or the sun itself to convert into solar energy power. With it, people can use their cellular phones without the hassle of bringing the conventional cell phone charger and at the same time, saving money since they are no longer required to use electricity. To top it all off, the performance of their mobile phone is so much better when “The Smart One” is used.

“The Smart Power” Simon Wilby created this technology while working closely with the company “The Smart Power Incorporated” of which he is the CEO. He has initially launched “The Smart One” with the backing of the said company where its head office is currently located – in the island of Barbados.
