Being a pet-lover and having five dogs to keep track of, he was inspired to invent a device which would enable him to constantly maintain contact with his beloved pets. This device is a two-way voice collar communication system which useful to him personally, as well as the man dog-owners who might find themselves in the same predicament.

Next on the list of Simon Wilby’s inventions is a solar-powered lithium battery for cell phones. Exasperated by the frequency with which his cell phone was dying on him right in the middle of an important call, he thought of solar-powered batteries as a solution. This battery called “The Smart One” is being manufactured and marketed by The Smart Power, Inc. to help people like him who are frequently on the go and who conduct their businesses via phones. Finally — though not the last of his inventions — are solar-powered batteries for laptops, “The Smart Juice.”
